May Favourites

Hellloooo lovely people! Well it's nearing the end of the month which means.... ITS MAY FAVOURITES TIME! I loved writing my April Favourites (which is linked in the side bar ->) so I thought I would write one for May too; let's dive straight in withhhh...

Anastasia Beverly Hills Glow Kit in That Glow

Well people who have read a couple of my previous posts will know that my obsession with this highlighting palette is starting to get a bit out of hand. All the colours are BEAUT, the only one I don't use as a highlight is "Golden Bronze" because it's wayyy to dark for me as a highlight. However, I do use it as an eyeshadow or if I'm doing a simple bronzey look I will apply Benefit's Hoola bronzer and then this over the top! Top ratings, love it, I can't praise it enough!
THE PALETTE OF DREAMS

NYX SOFT CREAM MATTE LIQUID LIPSTICKS

OMG these are sooo good! I managed to find a NYX counter where I live and these bad boys were on the top of my lists. I have the colours Amsterdam which is a red, Prague which is a purpley pink and Cannes which is a pinky nude. All colours have amazing pigmentation an last a ridiculously long time on the lips. Cannes wears beautifully on the lips so it doesn't give you that dodgy lip liner line. Prague and Amsterdam don't wear quite as well but no biggie because they last forever! Definitely going to pick more of these up!

Loreal False Lash Sculpt

So a lot of beauty bloggers have been talking about this recently and because my trusty Benefit They're Real mascara had ran out I thought I would pick this up! They are actually veryyy similar! They both are extremely black, they both have plastic brushes which grab onto every single lash (yes, even those annoying ones at the edges) and it holds curl all day. This is the only mascara I have been using this month and I haven't even been tempted to take a quick trip to Boots and see what others mascara's are out there.

Collection Lasting Perfection Concealer

Another drug store favourite for this month (and pretty much this past year) has been Collection's trusty concealer. Another one that all the bloggers have talked about in the past but I'm still here loving it! I have the colour one which is actually lighter than my skin tone (any pale skinned people out there this concealer is for you) so I mainly conceal around my eyes is with, it quite thick in consistency in comparison to my NARS creamy concealer but, it's a fraction of the price so I can't really complain! It's got great coverage and blends in beautifully, especially with a beauty blender!

Lush Bubblegum Lip Scrub

So my lips have been sooooo dry the past couple weeks and I have tried all sorts of lip balms to try and sort them out. This is an old favourite that I thought I would whack again to give my lips a bit of a re-vamp! I forgot how much I love this stuff. It's a sugar scrub that you rubs into your lips to get all the dry and horrible stuff off, when you've finished all you have to do is lick the sugar off and your done. I then apply Vaseline to give some moisture to the lips! (I was going to include the Vaseline but it's more of a necessity than a favourite!)

Chanel Chance Perfume

This is ALWAYS my summer fragrance of choice! Its light and floral and just smells overall yummy. I am rubbish at describing fragrances but if you go and give it a sniff at your local Debenhams or Boots I promise you won't be disappointed. I have used my bottle that much that I couldn't even photograph it for this post because it is that battered. The one in the photo is my moms, so THANKS MOM!

Real Techniques Setting Brush

I feel like brushes are one of those "Holy Grail" things but because you use them that much they don't really get noticed! (Let's get the violins out for all the under appreciated brushes.) Real Technique brush are just the bomb, great price are so soft and apply make-up like you wouldn't believe. Samantha Chapman I salute you.

Benefit Dandelion Blusher

And last but not least we have my fave blusher of all time! This was the first high end blusher I got years and years ago and I still haven't finished it yet, obviously the one in the picture is a new one as again the old one is so battered I am ashamed to photograph it! Anyway onto the blusher itself, it is a beautiful pale pink with a slight shimmer in it. It's perfect for pale complexions like myself as it gives that subtle pink flush across the cheeks perfectly!

Ladies and Gentleman we are finished! Thank you ever so much to everyone who reads my posts, I can't believe I have been blogging for two months already! Time flies when you're having fun!!
